Original Eichlers — there are several hundred across the city — bring their own questions: how do you run new electrical and ventilation through a flat roof with no attic? How do you preserve the exposed post-and-beam ceiling while adding the storage a modern kitchen needs? Eichler galley layouts are tighter than most owners initially realize, and the right answer is rarely "knock down the wall" — it's usually "make every inch of cabinet count."
Mid-century ranches in Cambrian Park and Evergreen ask different questions. Most have closed-off galley kitchens that today's owners want opened up — but the wall between the kitchen and dining room often holds up the roof. Working around (or through) that constraint shapes the whole project. Willow Glen's 1920s–50s mix calls for character preservation: the cabinets need to fit the era, not fight it. And Almaden's larger lots invite the projects most other neighborhoods can't accommodate — oversized islands, walk-in pantries, indoor-outdoor flow to a back patio.

San Jose is essentially next door to our factory. Most South Bay deliveries are 20–30 minutes from the loading dock to your driveway. That proximity changes what's possible: short-notice site visits when something unexpected comes up during install, same-day swaps if a piece needs adjustment, and a delivery window that doesn't have to absorb a long-haul drive.
Suburban delivery brings its own patterns. Some Almaden communities require HOA notification windows. Ranch homes in Cambrian and Evergreen often work best with garage-side staging. Eichler projects need careful coordination because the open floor plan means cabinets and tools share space with everything else. We coordinate the details with your contractor before the boxes leave Milpitas.
